Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, joining, playing on, donating to, or interacting with Dystopian Gaming services, including game servers, Discord communities, websites, and related services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable community rules.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue use of Dystopian Gaming services immediately.

Age Requirement

By using Dystopian Gaming services, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age or meet the minimum age requirement required to use online gaming and communication platforms in your region.

User Data and Privacy

By accessing or using Dystopian Gaming services, users acknowledge that limited account-related and technical information may be processed for multiplayer connectivity, moderation, authentication, server administration, gameplay systems, and community operations.

Information may include:

  • Display names

  • Account identifiers

  • IP addresses and connection logs

  • Moderation records

  • Game-play statistics

  • Discord account information

  • Multiplayer session data

  • Technical diagnostics and crash information

All information is handled in accordance with the Dystopian Gaming Privacy Policy.

Children's Access

Dystopian Gaming services are not intended for children under the age of 13.

Users under the age of 13 should not access or use community services, multiplayer servers, Discord services, websites, or related platforms operated by Dystopian Gaming.

If Dystopian Gaming becomes aware that information has been provided by a child under 13, reasonable efforts may be made to remove the information and restrict access where appropriate.

Community Rules

To maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for all players, users agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or intimidate other players or staff

  • Share personal, private, or identifying information about others without consent

  • Engage in doxxing, impersonation, or targeted harassment

  • Use cheats, exploits, hacks, macros, or unauthorized modifications

  • Attempt to disrupt, crash, exploit, or damage servers or services

  • Engage in hate speech, discriminatory behavior, or excessive toxicity

  • Circumvent bans, suspensions, or moderation actions

  • Share malicious links, spam, or harmful content

  • Exploit bugs or unintended game-play mechanics for unfair advantage

  • Upload, distribute, or share illegal, infringing, copyrighted, or unauthorized content

Users are solely responsible for any content, messages, media, links, or material they post, upload, or share through Dystopian Gaming services.

Dystopian Gaming reserves the right to interpret and enforce all community rules at its sole discretion.

Community Monetization, Advertising, and Exploitation Restrictions

Users may not use Dystopian Gaming services, servers, Discord communities, websites, or related platforms for unauthorized commercial activity, monetization, solicitation, or personal financial gain.

The following activities are strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized by Dystopian Gaming administration:

  • Advertising personal servers, communities, businesses, services, products, social media pages, or external platforms

  • Self-promotion or unauthorized recruitment

  • Selling, trading, or attempting to monetize community access, in-game items, accounts, services, or community resources

  • Attempting to redirect users away from Dystopian Gaming communities or services

  • Soliciting donations, payments, subscriptions, or financial contributions from community members

  • Extortion, coercion, blackmail, threats, manipulation, or attempts to pressure staff or community members for financial, administrative, or personal gain

  • Impersonating official Dystopian Gaming staff, partners, sponsors, or representatives for commercial or personal benefit

  • Using the community to conduct scams, fraudulent activity, or deceptive practices

Dystopian Gaming reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, terminate memberships, or permanently ban users involved in unauthorized monetization, advertising, exploitation, or harmful community behavior.

Enforcement actions may be taken immediately and without prior warning.

Server Resets, Restarts, and Wipes

Dystopian Gaming servers may restart, reset, wipe, roll back, or undergo maintenance at any time.

Servers are expected to restart at least once per day for maintenance, stability, updates, backups, or operational purposes.

Game-play progress, stored items, currencies, character progress, statistics, structures, cosmetics, or other in-game data may be modified, lost, reset, or removed during these processes.

Dystopian Gaming makes no guarantee regarding persistent data retention.

Donations and Payments

All payments, donations, contributions, memberships, subscriptions, or supporter purchases made to Dystopian Gaming are voluntary and final.

All donations are non-refundable.

Donations do not grant ownership rights, guaranteed access, permanent perks, permanent cosmetics, permanent progression, or entitlement to continued services.

Any perks, rewards, cosmetic items, Discord roles, supporter access, or in-game benefits are provided voluntarily and may be modified, revoked, suspended, or removed at any time without notice.

Dystopian Gaming reserves the right to modify, discontinue, re-balance, reset, or remove any feature, system, perk, cosmetic, or supporter benefit at its sole discretion.

Account Suspension and Termination Rights

Dystopian Gaming reserves the right to suspend, restrict, terminate, ban, mute, wipe, or otherwise limit access to any user, account, player, or community member at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violations of community rules

  • Toxic or disruptive behavior

  • Exploiting or cheating

  • Security concerns

  • Abuse toward staff or community members

  • Attempts to harm the servers, website, Discord, or services

  • Unauthorized monetization or advertising

  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious conduct

Moderation decisions are made at the sole discretion of Dystopian Gaming staff and may be temporary or permanent.

Rules Enforcement and Evidence

Dystopian Gaming reserves the right to investigate reports, game-play activity, chat logs, connection records, screenshots, videos, moderation reports, and other relevant evidence for the purpose of enforcing community rules and protecting the integrity of the servers and community services.

Moderation and enforcement decisions may be based on available evidence collected through server systems, administrative tools, or community reports.

Intellectual Property and Community Status

Dystopian Gaming is an independent community-operated gaming service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with The Isle, Afterthought LLC, Epic Games, Steam, or Discord unless explicitly stated otherwise.

All trademarks, game assets, platform names, logos, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, misuse, sell, or exploit Dystopian Gaming branding, services, graphics, systems, or community materials without authorization.

No Guarantees

Dystopian Gaming services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous uptime

  • Uninterrupted access

  • Error-free gameplay

  • Permanent data retention

  • Compatibility with all hardware or software

  • Availability of specific features, servers, mods, events, or cosmetics

  • Protection from bugs, exploits, crashes, rollbacks, or unforeseen technical issues

Services may be modified, interrupted, delayed, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dystopian Gaming, its owners, administrators, moderators, affiliates, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of game-play progress

  • Loss of virtual items or in-game data

  • Server downtime or interruptions

  • Account suspensions or bans

  • Technical issues or software conflicts

  • Data corruption or data loss

  • User-generated content or user conduct

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Users access and use Dystopian Gaming services entirely at their own risk.

Third-Party Services

Dystopian Gaming may utilize third-party services, software, hosting providers, multiplayer systems, communication platforms, payment processors, analytics systems, moderation tools, and authentication providers including but not limited to:

  • Epic Online Services (EOS)

  • Steam

  • Discord

  • Website hosting providers

  • Payment processors

  • Analytics and moderation tools

Users acknowledge that use of these services may also be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and operational practices.

Dystopian Gaming reserves the right to investigate violations, restrict access, suspend accounts, remove content, or terminate services at its sole discretion in order to protect the integrity, security, stability, and operation of its community services.

Changes to Terms

Dystopian Gaming reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
